Sham Rock N Run 5K 2025

Every year, hundreds of participants of widely varying age and athletic ability come together dressed in their St. Patty's best and complete the Sham Rock N Run 5K in support of HOPE Helps. This event raises funds to help families in crisis in our community through HOPE's various programs. Each individual who walks, runs, skips, or hops their way to the finish line has a hand in keeping families in need in their rooms. The 3.1 mile course ran through St. Luke's Lutheran Church and School and Lutheran Haven, where residents cheered on racers. Contest and prizes are given for the best costume and largest team and more than 20 local businesses and churches help sponsor this event. In 2025, HOPE saw 685 runners/walkers/strollers register in support of HOPE’s mission of preventing hunger and homelessness in Central Florida.
