Christmas in the City 2024

Christmas in the City is HOPE’s largest outreach event of the year, created in 2008 in partnership with HOPE’s Interfaith Coalition, giving hundreds of families in need the opportunity to choose gifts for their children ages 0-18. At the event, the registered families receive toys, games, gift cards, blankets, books, new socks and underwear, stocking stuffers, and a visit from Santa and Rudolph. Once the parents have selected gifts, they have the option to get them wrapped before reuniting with their children who have been making crafts at the childcare area. The family then receives a family portrait, a bag of holiday meal items, and hot food they can enjoy at the event or takeaway. Clients also had the option to ride back to their cars on a golf cart! 2024 was HOPE’s largest attended Christmas in the City to date, with over 600 registered children and over 300 registered families.
