Kids of HOPE: Back to School Bash

Right before school starts each year, HOPE hosts the Kids of HOPE Back to School Bash, where pre-registered children of families in crisis are able to pick out everything they need to start their school year off right. The day of the event, each child chooses a backpack, all school supplies they need, socks and underwear, a set of toiletries, and receives a free vision screening. This event presents over 200 volunteer opportunities each year. Partner resource agencies attend all day, providing additional community information for our client families. In 2024, we served 170 households and over 360 children.
